Simchat Torah Service
14 Oct @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
We will gather on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 p.m. to observe Simchat Torah. With the return of the remaining living hostages to their families in Israel, it is clear that we can take a breath and revel in the joy of this moment. We will begin our celebration of Torah with a blessing of separation from the long nightmare of the captives being held by Hamas. Please plan to join us for this special service.
We will parade our sacred scrolls through the Sanctuary, enjoy festive singing and flag waving, and complete the reading of the Book of Deuteronomy while also beginning the Book of Genesis. We’ll also observe Yizkor.
Join us in person or on YouTube. An Oneg follows hosted by Dawn Hammond and Ronnie & Norm Greenberg.
As we finish the annual reading of the Torah, we’ll continue our beautiful tradition of completely unrolling the scroll. Please come and offer your assistance!
