Join Us For the Temple's Annual Meeting

Learn about changes that strengthen our congregational leadership model during the Temple’s 175th Annual Meeting on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at 7 p.m.

Please join us in person or via livestream when we update the membership on the restructuring of our governance to adopt a partnership model, creating new efficiencies and greater opportunities for strategic planning to better serve our members. We’ll also vote on the budget for the coming year and candidates for leadership.

Members in good standing will be able to vote again this year in real time regardless of how they choose to attend. Information will be sent in late May about how to vote on candidates for leadership and the budget for 2023-2024. Absentee ballots also will be available for those who cannot attend in person or virtually.

During the meeting, President Ronnie Greenberg, the Board of Directors, Rabbi Meir Bargeron, and Executive Director Samara Sheray will review the past year’s activities, including the status of the major upgrade to livestreaming operations approved last June by the members.

We’ll also learn more about the 175th season of events to celebrate our milestone anniversary, including a special weekend of events coming on November 10-12.

In addition, the annual meeting of our membership will include the presentation of the William Brosler Award to a member whose long-term involvement at the Temple and commitment to the congregation have gone above and beyond. We also will recognize:

  • Outgoing Board members Larry Adelman, Mike Rush, and Mark Schneider for their service.
  • Members of the L’dor Vador Legacy Society for indicating they’ve made a planned gift to the congregation.

Absentee ballots, an agenda, and the proposed budget will be made available beginning Wednesday, May 31. To be eligible to vote, members must be current in their financial obligations to the congregation. All absentee ballots must be signed and returned by U.S. mail, by fax, or by emailing a PDF copy of the ballot prior to the Annual Meeting.
