Shabbat Shuvah & Memorial Plaque Dedication
04 Oct @ 7:15 pm - 8:30 pm
Please join us for Shabbat Shuvah, the Sabbath of Return between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, on Friday, October 4.
We’ll begin at 7:15 p.m. with the dedication of memorial plaques added during the past year. We’ll also remember those honored on our virtual plaques and on the yahrzeit sculpture in the courtyard, which brings together bronze plaques from Achduth Vesholom and B’nai Jacob. (The dedication will not be livestreamed.)
Our Shabbat service will begin at 7:30 p.m., led by Rabbi Meir Bargeron. Share in the evening in person or on YouTube.
The name of this special Shabbat comes from the first word of the reading from the Haftarah reading from Hosea, which also shares the same Hebrew root with t’shuvah, repentance.
We warmly welcome guests. Please contact the Temple office for online access information at (260) 744-4245 or office@templecav.org.
