Friday Night Live Shabbat Service & Bring Your Own Picnic & Silent Auction
28 Jul @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Due to the heat, our spirited Friday Night Live service will move indoors in the Social Hall on July 28 at 6:30 p.m., led by Rabbi Meir with Heartland Sings on their mobile stage. Tap your toes, get on your feet, and share the joy of Shabbat with this lively worship experience. The service will be livestreamed on Zoom or YouTube.
We invite you to join us at 5:30 p.m. with your own picnic meal and beverages to enjoy when we gather as a Temple family on our beautiful grounds. Kiddush and Motzi will begin at 5:45 p.m. After the service, the Temple will provide the fixings for s’mores and delicious ice cream treats.
Thank you to Wendy & Micah Soltz and Kate & David Crell for coordinating the desserts and firepit.
Silent Auction To Support Mitzvah Project
Please also check out our silent auction before and after the service to support our 175th Anniversary Mitzvah Project! (Bid on items, with payment accepted after Shabbat.) Funds raised will help 175 foster children in Northeast Indiana through a project with Fostering Hope for Children.
Auction items provided by our members include delicious challah baked by Jon Tam; landscaping services by the Temple gardening crew; Spanish lessons with Juli Dominguez; and chocolate pretzels by Beth Zweig.
