Learning Cafe: What Holds Us Together During Uncertain Times?

We are living in a moment when the world can feel fast-moving, fragmented, and overwhelming. Many of us are asking big questions about belonging, trust, dignity, and how we stay connected to one another when so much feels uncertain.

Please join Rabbi Meir for our next Learning Café on Wednesday, February 4 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Temple when we explore what Jewish tradition has to say about living through complex times. Drawing on classical Jewish texts and contemporary reflections, we’ll consider how values like human dignity, listening, responsibility, and community can help hold us together, personally and as a society.

No prior knowledge is needed, but we will be considering some of the ideas of New York Times Opinion columnist, Thomas L. Friedman. Read more about them here (there’s also a podcast). Bring your lunch, and come ready to learn, reflect, and engage in thoughtful conversation. Can’t come in person? A zoom link will be available in the weekly email.
