Asurgeon in a mobile auxiliary surgical group during World War II, Dr. John Brush experiencedthe liberation of Paris, the Battle of the Bulge, the attack on the SiegfriedLine, the crossing of the Rhine, and the liberation of Ebensee ConcentrationCamp, a satellite of Mauthausen.
“While for me this is a chancefor a personal tribute to my father, in the process we see theseevents through the eyes of one soldier, and I hope gain amore human perspective on them,” said Dr. Thomas Brush.
Dr. Thomas Brush is a Professor of Management at theKrannert School of Management at Purdue University. His research focuses oncorporate strategy and manufacturing strategy topics such as acquisitions,diversification, manufacturing capability exploitation within companies, andsupplier relationships.
