COME TOGETHER FOR HEALING, COMFORT AND SUPPORT ON YOM KIPPUR AFTERNOON
On this sacred day, what kinds of healing or comfort do you need?
Has it been a hard year for you physically, mentally or spiritually? The work of Yom Kippur can open up our vulnerability and this will be a time to come together in sacred community to offer healing, comfort and support.
Please join us on Thursday, October 2 at 3 p.m. when Rabbi Meir leads a special Yom Kippur afternoon healing service, which may be helpful for those who are physically ill, those in need of emotional and spiritual healing, those friends and family who care for those in need of healing, and for anyone seeking additional prayers to add meaning to their High Holy Day experience.
The service will be in the Madge Rothschild Resource Center. It will not be livestreamed.
JOIN US FOR BREAK THE FAST HOSTED BY THE ROMEOS
The ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out) are preparing a delicious break-the-fast meal for the congregation following both Reform and Conservative services on Thursday, October 2. Please make a reservation online or contact us at (260) 744-4245 by Friday, September 26 so that we can prepare enough food and seating. Thanks to the generosity of the ROMEOs, there is no charge. However, cash donations gladly will be accepted to help offset the costs.
