Tu B'shvat Celebration

01 Jan @ 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Please join us for a family-friendly Tu B’Shvat celebration on Sunday, February 5 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Temple that includes a seder and tree noshes.

Sometimes referred to as “Jewish Arbor Day,” Tu B’shvat marks the time when almond trees begin to bloom in Israel. We will celebrate the importance of trees to tikkun olam (repairing the world) and look forward to the return of spring.

Please RSVP to office@templecav.org or (260) 744-4245 by Tuesday, January 31. There is no charge to attend. A free-will offering will be accepted to help defray the expenses.

Volunteers are needed to assist with food, decorations, set-up, and clean-up. If you’d like to serve on the Tu B’Shvat Committee, or otherwise help with the event, contact Lyla Spath at lspath@outlook.com.
