Getting Good at Getting Older with Rabbi Laura Geller

10 Nov @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us on Wednesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. via Zoom to learn about “Getting Good at Getting Older” with Rabbi Laura Geller.

The baby boomer generation transformed society in the 60s and 70s and changed the way the world saw young people. While this generation is no longer young, it is still revolutionary and is now confronting and challenging assumptions about aging by living longer, by being more active than their parents and grandparents, and by simply doing things differently as they age. In the process, boomers are changing the way the world sees older people.

Rabbi Laura Geller, co-author of Getting Good at Getting Older with Richard Siegel (z”l), joins us on Wednesday, November 10 at 7 p.m. via Zoom to teach us how we can take charge of our aging lives, and bring humor, warmth, and more than 4,000 years of Jewish experience to the question of how to shape this new stage of life.

Please register for the class by Tuesday, November 2 to office@templecav.org to receive a free copy of Getting Good at Getting Older. This program is offered with the support of the Harry W. Salon Foundation.

The Zoom link will be sent to our Temple family via the weekly email. Guests may contact the Temple office for access information.
