A Taste of Talmud: Blessings

26 Oct @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Join Rabbi Meir for a “Taste of Talmud: Blessings” on Tuesday, October 26 at 7 pm on Zoom.

Talmud is a compendium of Jewish law and legends that lies at the core of the Jewish intellectual tradition. We will read and discuss material from tractate Berakhot, starting with when one should recite the Shema. The class will study from the Noe Edition of the Koren Bavli (Babylonian) Talmud that has recently been added to the collection of the Rabbi Richard B. Safran Library. All texts will be provided.

Kindly RSVP by noon on Friday, October 22 to office@templecav.org to receive the materials in advance.

The Zoom link will be provided in the weekly congregational email. Guests are welcome and may contact the Temple at office@templecav.org for access information.
