Jack & Gertrude Adelman Facility Improvement – Funds are used to make improvements to the appearance or infrastructure of the Temple’s interior.
Joseph & Elsa Adler Memorial – Contributions are used to provide scholarships to Religious School students in need.
Adult Education - Contributions will be used to support a wide variety of adult education programs that will expand our Jewish knowledge and help to create a growing community of lifelong learners.
Art & Beautification – Funds are used for projects that enhance the attractiveness of the Temple.
Endowment – Funds go into the established Temple Endowment Fund. Earnings are used to meet ongoing needs of the Temple.
Floral – Funds provide bimah flowers for the Sanctuary and Social Hall for special Temple services and events.
General Operations – Contributions help defray operating costs of the Temple.
Ryan Goldstrom Memorial – The fund is used for any gift to a child from the Temple for a life-cycle event, including for bar/bat mitzvah, Consecration, Confirmation and graduation.
Himelstein Children’s Library – This fund is used to purchase children’s books with Jewish content for the library.
Holocaust Memorial – Contributions paid for the sculpture in front of the Temple and have since been used to provide educational material for the community, both Jewish and non-Jewish.
Library – Contributions are used to purchase new books and magazines and for operating the Temple's Rabbi Richard B. Safran Library.
Jacob & Ethyl Mansbach Campership – Donations are used to provide full or partial camperships for children attending Goldman Union Camp Institute or another Union for Reform Judaism camp.
Kathryn Kann Mendelblat Cultural Enrichment – Contributions are used to help cover expenses associated with bringing cultural activities to the Temple.
Dr. John Planer Music – Donations to this fund are used for expanding the liturgical music and worship experience at the Temple.
Prayer Book – This fund is used to purchase new books for congregational worship. Contributions of at least $36 are recognized with a bookplate specifying in whose honor the books have been purchased.
Project Assist - This fund is used by the Social Action Committee for tikkun olam efforts, including Thoughtful Thursdays. Please indicate whether your donation to Project Assist is specifically for Thoughtful Thursdays to help students in the Head Start program at the Temple and their families.
Rabbi’s Discretionary – This fund includes contributions made in appreciation of the rabbi, often for personal services he has provided to individuals or families. The rabbi uses the funds for tzedakah, special projects, or other congregational needs.
Max & Gerda Schmitz Holocaust Education - Contributions help pay for educational Holocaust-related materials and speakers, as well as to purchase and maintain equipment needed to preserve a range of Holocaust records or to present Holocaust information to individuals or groups.
Temple Gardens – Contributions to this fund are used to maintain or enhance all the gardens on the grounds of the Rifkin Campus at 5200, including the Sposeep Outdoor Chapel.
S. Wyle Weiman Youth Activities – Contributions support special youth activities, such as trips for Confirmation and high school students.
Youth Group - Donations support programs and activities of FOrTY, the Temple's Youth Group.
