We’re looking forward to our next Temple Book Club on Tuesday, February 6 when Abigail Pogrebin joins us via video-conference to discuss her book, My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew. We'll meet at 7 p.m. in the Madge Rothschild Resource Center.

This is the author’s personal story of her exploration and observance of a complete calendar of Jewish holidays. Please RSVP to the Temple office at (260) 744-4245 by Friday, February 2. Thank you to Temple Librarian Betsy Gephart for coordinating.

Save the date for Tuesday, May 8 when we discuss And After the Fire: A Novel by Lauren Belfer. Through her historical fiction, the author focuses on the fascinating connections between the Jewish community and several of the world’s famous composers. She'll join us via video-conference.

Our first meeting for 2017-2018 was on November 14 when we discussed From Every End of This Earth: 13 Families and the New Lives They Made in America by Steven V. Roberts. This is a timely look at immigration in this country.

All three titles are now available in the Rabbi Richard B. Safran Library.
