What does it take to run and nurture a thriving congregation? Committed volunteers who are willing to get involved and share their talent, time, and ideas. This is an especially important period in the life of Achduth Vesholom as we navigate the impact of the pandemic on the Temple, welcome a new rabbi during a period of virtual community, and evolve as one congregation with two traditions.
We value your membership and encourage you to learn more about the Temple by attending a two-session leadership development seminar on Wednesdays, January 13 and 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Zoom.
By taking the step to participate at the Temple, you also can develop new friendships, deepen relationships with other members, and contribute to a meaningful future for the Jewish community in Northeast Indiana.
During the sessions, we’ll talk about the importance of involvement at Achduth Vesholom and how each of us can and should do our part to help the congregation, whether through attending activities, volunteering on a committee or project, or serving on the Board of Directors.
You’ll hear Rabbi Meir and congregational leaders share information about the tradition of Jewish communal involvement, the role of the board and committees, the basics of congregational operations, the history of Achduth Vesholom and the Rifkin Campus, and much more.
The program is presented by the Board Development Committee: Fran Adler, Jamie Berger, Betsy Gephart, Mark Schneider, John Stein, and Beth Zweig (chair).
Please join us for this important gathering. Kindly RSVP to the Temple office at (260) 744-4245 or firstname.lastname@example.org
