ITEMS IN GENIZAH TO BE BURIED

A genizah, meaning storage or archives in Hebrew, is a temporary area to store worn Hebrew holy books or other Jewish items that are deemed sacred and that require burial according to Jewish tradition.

Please join us on Sunday, October 6 at 2:30 p.m. at the Fort Wayne Jewish Cemetery. At that time, we will be having the Kever Avot (memorial) service led by Rabbi Winnig and also bury the items in our genizah.
