Spin the dreidel, light the menorah, and get in the holiday spirit at a fun-filled Hanukkah party on Saturday, December 8 for the Jewish community at the Temple.
We’ll start with Havdalah at 6:30 p.m., and then the ROMEOs (Retired Old Men Eating Out) will provide a dinner of brisket, salad, and, of course, latkes – fried up to order, practically at your table! Dessert will include holiday favorites of rugelach and a “Dunkin’” version of sufganiyot (jelly doughnuts).
Bring your menorah (candles will be provided) to bring the Festival of Lights to every table. A dreidel table will be set up for play, and the Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne will provide gift bags for children. We’ll even have dancing!
Please support our December Food Drive by bringing boxes of pasta or macaroni and cheese to donate for the food bank at Wellspring Interfaith Social Services.
Dinner is $10/person (checks payable to “CAV-The Temple), and reservations must be made by Friday, November 30 to the Temple office at (260) 744-4245 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
for children in first grade and younger will meet at 6 p.m., prior to the Hanukkah dinner and party.
