Did you miss our “how to play mah jongg” lessons in 2017? Have you always wanted to play and didn’t know where, when, or how? When your mother and her friends talk, do you have mah jongg envy?
Wonder no more! The Temple will be offering lessons for beginners on Sundays, March 10 and 17 from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Madge Rothschild Resource Center. Taught by Marcia Reynolds, John Stein, and Deb Vilensky, the sessions will cover the basics and then, just like the rest us have, you will be able to start playing and learning the subtleties of the game.
Reservations are required, call the CAV office at (260) 744-4245 to make yours. The cost is $10 and also will get you the 2019 card which you will need for play. Questions? Contact John Stein at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Open play mah jongg games are offered weekly in the resource center. Sign up to play.
