Religious School classes for children in zera through 8th grade meet from 9:45 a.m. to noon.

High School will meet from 11 a.m. to noon.

Children's author Lesléa Newman will be at Temple on Sunday, October 7 at 11 a.m. to meet with students. Perhaps best known for her Sydney Taylor Award-winning, “Ketzel, The Cat Who Composed,” Ms. Newman will be reading to students and discussing her occupation as a children’s author. Parents of Religious School students are welcome to attend. The Rabbi Richard B. Safran Library has 21 books by Newman in its collection.

Her visit and book signing are sponsored by the Jewish Federation of Fort Wayne with support from the Dr. Harry W. Salon Foundation.
