L'shana Tovah! Begin the new year 5779 with us! Join us for Erev Rosh Hashanah worship on Sunday, September 9 at 8 p.m.. Our annual Rosh Hashanah Reception follows and will include the grand opening of a new traveling art exhibit called “Revisting Shabbat.”
We will be showing a collection of about 36 works, including photography, textile, collage and painting, all exploring some aspect of Shabbat. Created by a variety of international artists, the artworks and ritual objects represent a diverse, 21st-century, approach to this day of rest.
The exhibit from the Hebrew Union College- Jewish Institute of Religion Museum will be on display in the Social Hall from September through November. (Weekly hours for the public on Thursdays from 1 to 3 pm begin on September 13, with other hours by appointment.)
