SHARING HOLOCAUST HISTORY THROUGH FIRST PERSON SURVIVOR ACCOUNTS
Former journalist Bill Benson interviews Holocaust survivors to chronicle their life stories in their own words through the First Person program at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, uniting personal experiences with history in a powerful way. He’ll discuss his involvement and experiences on Thursday, September 7 at 7 p.m. at the Temple.
Mr. Benson is in his 13th season as host of First Person, a weekly series of interviews with Holocaust survivors before live audiences at the museum in Washington, DC. He also is an expert on aging and a former undersecretary with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
His visit is sponsored by the Temple and IPFW's Institute for Holocaust and Genocide Studies with support from the Dr. Harry W. Salon Foundation.
